Onion production and export since 1983
At Cebollas Marchite, we have been in love with onions for over 40 years: growing them, caring for them, processing them and always delivering them to the highest quality standards for both domestic and international markets.
Onion production since 1983. Quality that reaches all of Europe.
Cebollas Marchite was founded in 1983 in Fustiñana, Navarre, by a family with deep roots in Ebro valley agriculture. What began as a family farm has grown into one of the leading producer-exporters in the European onion market.

AN OPTIMISED PRODUCTION SYSTEM
We care for the land to care for the onion
Our integrated production system guarantees the highest quality, because we control and oversee every stage of the onion’s journey: from seed to processing, through every phase of cultivation. Onions find their perfect ecosystem at Cebollas Marchite.
Soils that sustain life
One of the keys to our production is soil richness. With an in-depth understanding of the crop's needs, we grow in deep, loamy soils with good organic matter content.
The ideal climate
The region's climate is a great ally: temperature, together with the right amount of sunlight, is crucial for bulb development.
Irrigation and maintenance
Consistent, controlled irrigation is vital for the crop, which is why we use the latest technology for irrigation control and data reporting. Disease and pest prevention: To prevent pests, we regularly rotate growing areas, select the most resistant onion varieties and carry out regular monitoring.
Fertilisation
We follow a balanced fertilisation plan that covers all of the crop's needs, using organic manures and specific fertilisers that strengthen the plant and improve bulb quality while respecting the environment.
Meticulous processing
We sort and handle our onions with the perfect blend of automation and manual methods.
Tailored service
To meet growing demand and secure the right quantities, quality and varieties for each season, we agree specific supply contracts with our customers ahead of sowing. This ensures a high-quality, tailored product at a competitive price, backed by reliable service.
Wide range of bag sizes
From 500 grams to 25 kilograms, we offer the widest range of packaging to adapt to the needs of a constantly evolving market.
Committed to our land
Onions belong to the land, and so does Cebollas Marchite. That’s why our social activity is strong and focused on the Zona Media and the Ribera de Navarra, where our onions grow. Discover everything we offer to the people who are part of our land.
Corporate social responsibility
Committed to social projects
At Cebollas Marchite, we believe a company truly grows when the community around it grows too.
That’s why, in recent years, we have supported social, charitable and sports projects, both in the Ribera de Navarra and wherever they were needed most.
